WASHINGTON – Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-9) has added his name as a co-sponsor to the Credit Union Small Business Jobs Creation Act (H.R. 688), which would increase the credit union member business lending (MBL) cap.
Pascrell is a former MBL reform supporter having added his co-sponsorship during the previous two congresses.
Rep. Pascrell is the 106th co-sponsor of the House bill joining New Jersey delegation members Rep’s Rob Andrews (D-1) and Donald Payne, Jr. (D-10) who added their names earlier this year.
“These co-sponsorships are a direct result of our Hike-the-Hill meetings during GAC and are proof positive of the value of taking time to meet with our lawmakers,” said NJCUL Director of Government Affairs Chris Abeel.
“We will continue to recruit co-sponsors and expect we’ll have half our House delegation adding their names to MBL reform,” he continued.
