HIGHTSTOWN, NJ - Project Zip Code (PZC) is a constituent matching program that connects credit union members with their state and federal lawmakers, and it's now easier than ever to participate or update your credit union's numbers.
The PZC Web site serves as the central processing center and database for the information entered by participating credit unions throughout the nation. PZC is a safe, secure program that counts credit union members and matches them by congressional district, state legislative district, and county.
As a result, credit union advocates are able to illustrate to lawmakers the number of credit union members in their district, an extremely powerful advocacy tool.
PZC numbers are also useful to credit unions interested in ATM expansion or shared branching.
The information is completely secure, and PZC is compliant with the privacy laws established under the Gramm Leach Bliley Act.
Are your members among the more than 75 million credit union members to stand up and be counted?
To learn more about PZC, participate, or update your credit union's numbers visit NJCUL's Project Zip Code - Update Your Numbers page at http://www.njcul.org/project-zip-code-update-your-numbers.aspx. In addition to all the necessary tools to participate, there's also a sample legislative district report and information about what the ABA thinks of PZC. This page requires login. If you need login information for the NJCUL site, please e-mail Marissa Anema at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
Help us ensure our state and federal lawmakers understand just how many of their voters are credit union members. It takes just a few minutes because Project Zip Code is now just a mouse click away.
