HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - A new News Your Members Can Use... article is now available on the NJCUL Web site. The article focuses on the pending legislation to delay implementation of the Fed's new debit card interchange rule until additional study on its potential impact to card issuers and consumers can be completed.

The article can be customized with the credit union's name to be distributed to its members. Titled "Don't Let Merchants Throw Consumers Under the Bus", the article points members in the direction of the Credit Union Online Grassroots Action Center where they can weigh-in on the issue.

News Your Members Can Use... is an initiative of NJCUL's Political & Legislative Action Network (NJ Credit Union PLAN) geared to informing credit union members of, and marshalling their grassroots strength on, public policy matters of concern to their credit union and its ability to serve them.

The service provides NJCUL member credit unions with publication-ready copy for their member newsletters.
