New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education

NJCFE Partnership

In early 2011, the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation entered into a partnership with the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education on behalf of all New Jersey credit unions. Below are downloadable materials on the partnership, as well as a press release and photo.

NJCFE Partnership Overview

NJCFE Partnership Press Release & Photo

The NJCFE is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the personal financial literacy of New Jersey's citizens by promoting and teaching financial education to residents of all ages. NJCFE consists of about 100 representatives of government agencies, schools, businesses and nonprofit organizations that provide financial education and related services.

Through this partnership, New Jersey credit unions will be able to take part in a majority of the organization’s activities. Like credit unions, NJCFE’s core mission is financial literacy. It works in conjunction with the Department of Education, Department of Banking and various other organizations to enhance financial literacy in the state.

Normally, this partnership was held solely by the NJ Banker's Association, but NJCFE felt credit unions were more aligned with the organization's philosophies. Because of the value of this partnership, we would like it to continue, but we need the help of New Jersey credit unions.

We have created contribution levels for credit unions, or even individuals, interested in becoming part of this partnership with us. Many credit unions and individuals contributed in 2011 and we are hoping for even more support in 2012. Please consider providing a contribution in one of the levels below. Every little bit helps.

Contribution Levels:

$6,000                         Diamond Sponsor

$3,000                         Platinum Sponsor

$1,000                         Gold Sponsor

$500                            Silver Sponsor

$250                            Bronze Sponsor

$100                            Patron Sponsor
