League Hosts Successful 2nd Annual Compliance Conference!

Over 30 credit union leaders joined together at the May 6th New Jersey Credit Union League Compliance Center's full-day conference held at the Forsgate Country Club in Jamesburg. The League's 2nd Annual Compliance Conference, Focus on Growth, Not Compliance was designed to address a variety of hot compliance issues and challenges that credit union leaders face each day!


 

The one-day conference included timely and important compliance and regulatory information given by experts in the industry. Bob Bouvier, CFE, CCUE, CFSA, Risk Management Consultant, presented ATM Fee Disclosures & Digital Signatures, explaining this new technology and what steps credit unions should take to ensure successful implementation of this service. Carolyn M. Warden, CUCE presented two topics: Marketing Compliance: It's Easier than You Can Imagine, and the special directors session Helping Directors Comply with the new NCUA Financial Literacy Regulation.

Finally, David A. Reed, Esq. of Reed & Jolly, PLLC presented Hot Button Exam Issues and Decoding the Examination Process: 10 Essential Techniques to Thrive During Your Next Exam. Reed empowered attendees' creativity and effectiveness as marketers and reviewed the current regulatory climate.
