Scott Hunt, NCUA Director of the Office of Corporate Credit Unions, has been added to the line-up of speakers taking part in the corporate panel discussion at the 2011 Credit Union Reality Check Conference in March. Hunt will bring the regulatory perspective to the Future of the Corporate Credit Union Network session.
Appointed Director of the Office of Corporate Credit Unions in September of 2009, Hunt previously served as acting director and special assistant to the acting director during the first eight months of 2009.
Hunt initially joined NCUA as an examiner in Washington, D.C., in 1989. He subsequently held the NCUA Region II positions of supervision analyst, Director of Insurance, and Associate Regional Director of Operations. In the NCUA headquarters office, Hunt served as a senior investment officer in the Office of Capital Markets and Planning before returning to Region II as the Associate Regional Director of Programs in January 2005.
Hunt will join Jay Murray, Mid-Atlantic Corporate; Lee Butke, Corporate One; and Chuck Furbee, Members United Bridge Corporate in providing feedback on the challenges and projections for the new corporate network.
