LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Congressman Frank Pallone (D-6) was the special guest last evening at Rider University’s Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics for the concluding session of its 2012-13 Governing New Jersey series. The event was an excellent opportunity to follow-up the recent Hike the Hill meeting to get him to renew his MBL reform cosponsorship, and make the case for him to sign-on the credit union supplemental capital bill.

The program began with a reception followed by remarks and a Q&A dialogue moderated by Rebovich Institute Director Ben Dworkin.
Credit Union of New Jersey Board Director Gary Chizmadia and President/CEO Andy Jaeger joined NJCUL Director of Government Affairs Chris Abeel to press for his continued support of pending legislative proposals that will enable credit unions to better serve their members.
“I want to thank Gary and Andy for taking time from their busy schedules to attend this event,” Abeel said. “This wasn’t a small opportunity. We need stay engaged, particularly with our traditional supporters, because of the unprecedented level of anti-credit union propaganda coming from the bankers right now,” he continued.
