MADISON, Wis. – Since activating its online disaster relief system CUAid.coop on October 31st, the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) has already raised over $185,000 from the credit union community to assist credit union people along the East Coast affected by Hurricane Sandy. This is the result of donations ranging from $5 to $10,000 demonstrating the collective power and philosophy of the credit union movement.
Below is a list of the top CUAid donations made by organizations since the activation of CUAid. Many individuals have also made donations, but the list is too long to publish.
We thank everyone who has made generous donations to the relief efforts of CUAid.
