HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – For those traveling to the League within the next couple of weeks, we’d like you to be aware of a road closure at an intersection near the League office due to the New Jersey Turnpike Widening Program that will affect your travels.
The intersection of Ward Street (the road on which the League is located) at the intersection of Etra Road (the road perpendicular to Ward Street, to the south) will be closed for approximately 10 workdays, starting Monday, December 2nd and ending Friday, December 13th (weather dependent). The Ward Street/Etra Road intersection will be closed 24 hours, 7 days a week throughout the construction.
A signed detour will be posted using Davison Road, Franklin Street (Route 33), South Main Street, and Etra Road. Access to Ward Street will only be available using Route 33 to Davison Road to Ward Street. There will be no access to Ward Street from Etra Road or from Ward Street to Etra Road.
If you are traveling to the League office during this time, especially those attending the December 3rd ELS session and December 4th Business Accounts session, and have any questions, please contact Mary Zelinsky at 800-729-8861 ext. 100.
As we get updates on the progress of the construction and the duration of the road closure, we will keep our membership updated.
