The Future of Payments – Getting to the Heart of Member Relationships

The evolution of the payments market cannot be ignored; credit unions must adjust and adapt to the ever-changing environment. Hear about changes currently underway, along technology and trends, and strategies to keep up with the changing landscape.

Session Description:
We are only at the end of the beginning of profound changes in the U.S. payments market. The evolution of debit over the past 10 years has been impressive but new forms of payment are emerging rapidly, including mobile payments, person-to-person payments and the fast-growing prepaid market.

Additionally, new regulatory proposals threaten the very fabric of credit unions’ non-interest payments revenue.

During this session, Fiserv’s Mark Sievewright will speak on the changes currently underway in the payments market, along with cutting edge technology and emerging trends, and long-term strategies to keep up with the changing landscape.

Who is Mark Sievewright?
As President, Credit Union Solutions at Fiserv, Sievewright leads teams and solutions that process data and information for one third of U.S. credit unions and a growing number of international clients. In addition, he directs the innovation, development, and distribution of value-added financial industry products and services ranging from wire processing to online account opening to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony systems.

Within the credit union movement, Sievewright has worked closely with numerous credit unions, state leagues, and associations as well as national and international associations such as CUNA and the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU). In 2010, Sievewright was merited the Ambassador Award by WOCCU for his many years of service to credit unions.
