NJ CU Foundation Expands Reality Fair Grant Opportunities; CUs Now Eligible for Up to Four Grants Per School Year

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union Foundation Board gathered recently for a quarterly meeting and to discuss the Reality Fair program. With the demand for the program increasing, the Board upped its limit for grants available to New Jersey credit unions from two per school year to four per school year.

The Board will continue to consider grant applications for 50% of the cost of a Fair, up to $2,500.

Last summer, the Board approved a lower cost of the Reality Fair materials, making the program more affordable for credit unions.

The program has reached over 2,000 students during the 2017/2018 school year thus far and has the potential to reach close to 700 more before the end of the year.

An updated Reality Fair grant application is available here.
