The New Jersey Credit Union League is proud to announce the winners of its Youth Involvement Board (YIB) 2012-2013 Scholarship Program. The winners are:

• Jackson Baker, Members 1st of NJ FCU
• Brianna Bell-Kosinski, ABCO FCU
• Lucy Chen, Merck EFCU
• Neha Chopra, Garden Savings FCU
• Emily Herring, Merck EFCU
• Michael Staples, Picatinny FCU 
• Angela Sun, ABCO FCU 
• Joseph Worthington, Members 1st of NJ FCU

This year, there were eight scholarships available, with four scholarships for students attending 4-year colleges or universities and four scholarships for students attending technical schools or community colleges. Each credit union was categorized by its chapter (Northern, North-Central, Southern, and South-Central) and two winners were selected from each.

Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards their post-secondary education. 

Applications were received from 311 members of 27 credit unions located throughout New Jersey.
