Southern Chapter Holds First Meeting of 2013

VINELAND, N.J. – The Southern Chapter of Credit Unions held its first meeting of the New Year on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. at the Merighi’s Savoy Inn in Vineland, NJ.

The Southern Chapter's first meeting of the New Year drew a great crowd.

Over 30 credit union representatives were in attendance from Bay Atlantic FCU, Bridgeton Onized FCU, Jersey Shore FCU, Members 1st of NJ FCU, Thunderbolt Area FCU, Alloya Corp. FCU, CUNA Mutual Group, Mid-Atlantic Corp., and the New Jersey Credit Union League.

Chapter President Gail Marino of Bay Atlantic FCU welcomed everyone to start off the meeting. Eileen Crean of Members 1st of NJ FCU presented the Foundation Report, Kyle Jaremko of Jersey Shore FCU presented the YIB Report, and Luna Alicea of Members 1st of NJ FCU presented the Treasurer’s Report. Other reports presented were by Debra Cohn from Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU, Sandy Albertson from Alloya Corporate FCU, and Ray Francis from CUNA Mutual Group.

Also, credit unions learned how to improve membership value and their bottom line, with a presentation done by Angel Santos of NJCUL, on the use of the Invest in America programs.
