HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - As the League made calls to credit unions across the state assessing the damages sustained by Hurricane Irene over the weekend, we learned that some New Jersey credit unions are still without power and have experienced minor damages caused by flooding.

A number of New Jersey credit unions that are operating normally offered support to other credit unions in need. Credit unions that have offered help include:

  • ADP FCU, Roseland, N.J.
  • Central Jersey FCU, Woodbridge, N.J.
  • McGraw-Hill FCU, East Windsor, N.J.
  • Raritan Bay FCU, Sayreville, N.J.

Other credit unions that would like to offer their support are asked to please contact the League.

Credit unions seeking assistance either from nearby credit unions or from the League can contact Angel Santos at 800-792-8861 ext. 109 for more information.

Credit union supporters that wish to help can also do so through the National Credit Union Foundation's CUAid.
