WASHINGTON – Rep. Rob Andrews (D-1) has added his name as a co-sponsor to the Capital Access for Small Businesses and Jobs Act (H.R. 719), which would enable well-capitalized credit unions to access supplemental forms of capital.

Rep. Andrews is the 33rd co-sponsor to the bill. He added his co-sponsorship to MBL reform earlier this year.
“These co-sponsorships are a direct result of our Hike-the-Hill meetings during GAC and are proof positive of the value of taking time to meet with our lawmakers,” said NJCUL Director of Government Affairs Chris Abeel.
“We will continue to recruit co-sponsors for both bills,” he added.
