Reminder: Deadline for Chapter Official Applications August 10, 2011

Chapter officials met over the past several months to discuss the current chapter system and the need for increased participation among credit unions. Out of those meetings grew a new and more structured chapter system that not only revamped the way meetings will run, but also redrew each chapter's county boundaries forming four distinct chapters: Northern Chapter of Credit Unions, North-Central Chapter of Credit Unions, South-Central Chapter of Credit Unions, and Southern Chapter of Credit Unions.

Each chapter has a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These officials provide much of the support that ensures these chapters continue to survive. We encourage you to consider becoming a chapter official for your chapter. Serving as a chapter official puts you at the center of the networking and learning that chapter meetings bring. With this new revamped system, we hope that more credit union leaders will get involved at the chapter level.

To become a chapter official, you must be a staff or board member of a New Jersey Credit Union League affiliated credit union in that chapter.
