HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – At the New Jersey Credit Union League board meeting held Thursday, David Ardire, President/CEO of Campbell Employees FCU, was appointed to the NJCUL board of directors.
“We are excited to welcome David Ardire to the board and look forward to his active involvement,” said NJCUL Chairman Lou Vetere. “His experience at Campbell Employees FCU will prove valuable in representing New Jersey credit unions as he serves on the NJCUL board.”
Ardire began his career at Campbell Employees FCU in 1979 as an accountant/systems manager. He left to pursue various financial roles in Campbell Soup Company and prior to returning to the credit union was Vice President Finance at Piramal Glass – USA.
For 25 years he remained active as a volunteer with the credit union, serving on the Audit Committee and then as a Board Member. He returned to Campbell Employees FCU in 2011 as Vice President Finance. Ardire was named President/CEO of the credit union in January of this year.
The NJCUL board was pleased to receive nominations from several candidates from various credit unions.
Also at the Thursday board meeting, Linda McFadden was voted Vice Chair and will serve in that capacity until the January board meeting, at which time 2014 table officers will be elected.
