PARAMUS, N.J. - Greater Alliance FCU has recently re-affiliated with the New Jersey Credit Union League.
"We are thrilled to have Greater Alliance FCU back in the League family," said New Jersey Credit Union League President/CEO Paul Gentile. "It's more important than ever to show a united front on Capitol Hill as we take on critical legislative challenges like interchange. By having a united member base, we have a better story to tell."
Located in Paramus, N.J., the $154 million community credit union serves over 18,000 members in Bergen and Passaic Counties. Greater Alliance FCU has two locations; its corporate headquarters in Paramus and a branch in Hackensack. Greater Alliance FCU has been servicing their members since April 1937, and they are already planning a 75th year celebration in 2012.
"I have watched the New Jersey League change over the past few years with Paul Gentile at the helm. From 'Banking You Can Trust' to new advocacy efforts in Trenton, I know we are being well represented by the League," said Greater Alliance FCU President/CEO Pat McGrath. "I look forward to a great relationship with the League and its member credit unions and to taking advantage of all the benefits of being a league member."
