Barbara Agin, Director of Education and Training for the New Jersey Credit Union League, recently paid a visit to Members 1st FCU and Atlantic FCU to view their video conferencing set up and input system information and to perform preliminary testing.

As a "thank you" for being part of this initiative, each credit union was presented with an NJCUL "Banking You Can Trust" mat for their lobby area. "It has been a pleasure working with both credit unions and we are all equally excited about the next steps in the process as we prepare to launch this initiative, bringing education to N.J. credit unions easily and conveniently," said Agin.

NJCUL developed the HDTV video conferencing delivery system earlier this year, positioning HDTV delivery solutions at credit unions in the Southern (Members 1st FCU) and Northern (Atlantic FCU) regions of the state, with the League serving as the Central location. This allows credit unions in those areas to attend sessions at these convenient locations, without having to travel to Hightstown. The key to the concept is the sophistication of the units will enable participants to engage in the dialogue as if they were in person.
