HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union League Board of Directors approved a 10% NJCUL dues rebate at last night’s regular monthly board meeting.
“New Jersey credit unions are certainly recovering, but many are facing financial challenges in this difficult economic environment,” said NJCUL Chairman Lou Vetere. “As a League, we are strong in many ways, including financially and we want to assist our members any way we can. This was our small part in doing that.”
It’s important to note that the dues rebate applies to NJCUL dues only. Members have the three following options with the dues rebate:
· Not take it and pay full dues as normal,
· Take the dues rebate,
· Apply the dues rebate to either the Banking You Can Trust ad co-op, the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation's Reality Fairs program, or the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE) partnership
Member CUs that have already paid their dues will be contacted to determine how they want to handle the rebate. For questions on this, please contact Controller Adrienne Bell at email@example.com.
