NJCUL Board Elections Now Open–Deadline to Vote Sept. 17th

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union League’s 2012 Board Elections are open for voting.

In this year’s election, the only contested seats are in Tier B (credit unions over $33,875,000 in assets) and Tier C (at-large). 

The Tier A (credit unions under $33,875,000 in assets) candidate was uncontested. Incumbent NJCUL Director and Elizabeth NJ Firemen’s FCU President/CEO Jay Flanagan is awarded the three-year term in Tier A.

Tier A credit unions vote for Tier C, and Tier B credit unions vote for Tier B and Tier C.

There are two nominees each for the Tier B and Tier C seats. The nominees are as follows:

Tier B: 
Michael Reilly, President/CEO, Central Jersey FCU
Ann South, President/CEO, Novartis FCU

Tier C: 
Bob Steeves, CEO, Essex County Teachers FCU
Eddie Daniels, CEO, Newark Board of Education Employees FCU

All directors elected during this balloting will serve beginning January 2013.

VR Election Services has mailed all League member credit unions an election packet. The election officially opened Friday, August 17, 2012, and will run through Monday, September 17, 2012. There are three options for voting: online, telephone, or mail ballot. Results will be announced at the 78th Annual Meeting in Atlantic City on Tuesday, October 2, 2012.
