OLD BRIDGE, N.J. – With around 60 credit union industry attendees, the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation’s 2nd Annual Credit Union Casino Night held last night at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, N.J. was a huge success. Funds raised by the event go towards Foundation initiatives like Financial Reality Fairs and the NJ Coalition for Financial Education partnership.
Casino Night attendees take their chances at the Roulette table.
Attendees visited the Craps, Roulette, and Blackjack tables while others entered the Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. About 20 Texas Hold ‘Em players were knocked down to the top three with Bert Sussmann, father of MidState FCU President/CEO and NJCUF Board Member Tracy Sussmann, taking the first place spot. Michele Weiss of Liberty Savings FCU and Stephen DiGioia of Symbionce, LLC, took the second and third place spots respectively.

Attendees were able to use their winnings from the table games to enter in for items in a Chinese Auction. Many walked away winners with their names being drawn from the auction, winning prizes such as a Lennox vase and a soda-making machine.
The Foundation’s 50/50 raffle winner was also drawn at Thursday’s event. The $2,500 winner was Marianne Pulice of XCEL FCU.
