Game On! NJ CU Foundation’s 8th Annual Casino Night Fundraiser Was a Sure Bet!

ISELIN, N.J. – The 8th Annual New Jersey Credit Union Foundation Casino Night fundraiser on March 22nd brought together credit union industry leaders, volunteers, and friends from around the state for a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament and casino table games, all for a great cause! The final numbers aren’t yet available, but it looks like the 8th Annual Casino Night was a success for the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation.

Attendees didn’t walk away empty-handed either. Bert Sussmann from MidState FCU walked away the third place winner in the Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, with Joe Weiss from Liberty Savings FCU coming in second and Symbionce’s Chris Papagni finishing as the first place winner!

Gary Dailey was the lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle prize of $2,300.

Others walked away with great prizes from the Chinese auction.

All enjoyed a buffet dinner, open bar, and tunes provided by NJ 101.5 FM, who was on-hand to play music and make announcements.

The Foundation’s Casino Night fundraiser supports the organization’s financial literacy and grant-giving initiatives, including the Financial Reality Fair program and the partnership with the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE). For more information, visit www.njcuf.org.
