For Second Year, NJCUL Goes Digital with its Awards Program; Names Volunteer Award in Memory of Calvin Jackson

Last year the New Jersey Credit Union League went digital with its awards program. The results were great! We had more entries than previous years and letting our member credit unions choose the winners through an online voting platform also worked very well. For 2013, we will use the same format.

The League has also renamed its Volunteer of the Year Award in memory of the recently passed credit union volunteer Calvin Jackson—someone who was the epitome of credit union volunteerism. Jackson was always willing to get involved with the New Jersey credit union system and entries for this award should focus on this same quality in other credit union volunteers.

The League’s Awards Program information can be downloaded here. Please read the requirements carefully and ONLY submit entries electronically. Award entries not submitted correctly will be returned to the credit union.

Please note: These requirements are just for the New Jersey Credit Union League Awards Program. National award information can be found at www.njcul.org/awards.aspx.

Questions about the Awards Program, submitting entries and requirements can be submitted to Candice Nigro at cnigro@njcul.org or 800-792-8861 ext. 110.

Please email all awards submissions to Candice Nigro at cnigro@njcul.org
