Full Day Professional Development Classes
A successful, competitive credit union depends on bright and engaged staff to help it grow and prosper. NJCUL's professional development classes help managers, board members and staff stay ahead of the latest regulations, technology and membership needs. In-person training at the League offices, or at a credit union branch or headquarters with adequate space for the session, usually run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with lunch included in the price of education. Topics range anywhere from credit union advocate training to member service training to FACTA guidelines. Mini-Sessions
A shorter version of the full day professional development classes, mini-sessions run half a day and are offered at a reduced cost. In-person training at the League offices, or at a credit union branch or headquarters with adequate space for the session, usually runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with lunch provided in the cost of education. Quick Bites
A Quick Bite/Telecourse is an audio only teleconference presenting pertinent credit union topics over a quick one-hour period. The audio archive replay feature is available for 3 weeks (21 days) so credit unions have more time to share the material. Financial Education and Development Webinars
NJCUL, in conjunction with Financial Education & Development, bring you a full line up of Webinars to meet your credit union's educational needs. Live Webinars include Q & A and both Webinars and CD come with the ability to contact the presenter with follow-up questions. MCUA Webinars
Affordable webinars for frontline staff and managers brought to you by the New Jersey Credit Union League and the Missouri Credit Union Association. All registrants receive a CD of the completed session for use as a refresher and/or training additional staff members. Credit Union Certified Teller Program
This program consists of two full days of training (session one - fundamentals and session two - compliance and basic cross selling). Upon passing the exam, the incumbent will receive a certificate and CUCT Certification status. In order to retain this certification, the incumbent needs a minimum of 15 hours of education relating to the frontline position every three years. Continuing education can be in the form of classroom, quick bite, webinar, college, etc. All education sessions that include frontline knowledge are eligible.
BSA Training by Request

Business Services
NJCUL has teamed up with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association to bring Business Services Education to New Jersey credit unions. There are a number of educational opportunities from face to face sessions, webinars and teleconferences. A representative is also available by request to deliver any courses to your credit union.
Service Skills Training
This customizable program consists of a one-day class for staff and management that focuses on the communication skills needed to increase products per member. This program also includes a jumpstart meeting with management to discuss the elements of a successful sales culture implementation and the importance of their role in this process. Also included is a one-day training class for management on coaching skills.
Customized Learning Solutions
NJCUL has the resources to create customized learning solutions for your credit union. If you are looking for basic service skills or cross-sell skills for frontline staff, or management development skills, such as team building and coaching, the League is your resource. Price is based on development time and number of training days.
