HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – As part of its effort to keep New Jersey credit union directors and volunteers in the know, the New Jersey Director and Volunteer Networking Alliance (NJ DNA) posts and sends a monthly newsletter to NJ DNA members.
NJ DNA Network Connect provides directors and volunteers with an overview of current political advocacy taking place in Trenton and Washington, updates on NCUA regulations and proposals, comment calls, useful resources, calendars of upcoming events, and much more.
The December 2011 issue is available for download here. This aspect of the NJCUL site is limited to directors and volunteers only and is password protected. If you are a director or volunteer and would like access to the newsletter—as well as other resources for directors and volunteers—send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request a login.
Curious as to what the NJ DNA is all about? NJ DNA provides credit union directors and volunteers a forum to meet, network and ensure they meet current and future challenges head on. Gary Chizmadia, board director at Credit Union of New Jersey and an active NJ DNA member, had this to say about the group:
“Being involved with the NJ DNA has been an extremely positive and rewarding experience. The opportunity to meet other directors from throughout the state has provided the grounds for the sharing of ideas and an excellent opportunity to network. I feel it is imperative to have this networking opportunity; it provides me the time to collaborate with my fellow directors on all the different issues affecting the Credit Union of New Jersey.”
Come see for yourself what NJ DNA is all about. Join the group for its first in-person meeting of the New Year on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at the Holiday Inn of East Windsor. More information is available here.
