HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - The New Jersey Credit Union League has extended the deadline for the 2011 Awards Program to next Friday, July 22nd to give New Jersey credit unions more time to enter. Get your entries in ASAP!!

CEO of the Year Award - Last year's winner: Lou Vetere, Garden Savings FCU
Volunteer of the Year Award - Last year's winner: Gary Chizmadia, Credit Union of New Jersey
"Difference Maker" Award - Last year's winner: Robert Carabelli, McGraw-Hill FCU
Credit Union of the Year Award - Last year's winner: North Jersey FCU
Catherine L. Miller & Alexander Kosobucki Marketing & Communications Award - Last year's winners:
- Under $10 Million in Assets: Elizabeth NJ Firemen's FCU
- Over $25 Million in Assets: First Financial FCU
Also included in the awards program are the three national awards:
Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award - Last year's winner:
- $50-$250 Million in Assets: Jersey Shore FCU
Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award - Last year's winners:
- $20-$50 Million in Assets: Hamilton Horizons FCU
- $100-$200 Million in Assets: Jersey Shore FCU
- Chapter/Multi-CU Group: MidState FCU/NJ Gateway FCU/Local 1233 FCU/New Community FCU
Desjardins Youth and Adult Financial Education Award - Last year's winner:
- $50-$150 Million in Assets: Raritan Bay FCU
The winners will be announced at the 2011 Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlantic City on September 18-20, 2011.
