HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The Economics & Statistics Department of CUNA recently released its Year End 2011 Operating Ratios and Spreads Report, containing a series of tables, arranged by asset size, presenting operating ratios and spreads for credit unions in New Jersey.
This is a supplement to the general Year End 2011 Edition of Operating Ratios and Spreads, offering a finer level of detail for New Jersey by presenting the asset size breakdown for New Jersey alone. These averages are a helpful tool for credit unions in New Jersey to measure their performance against their peers.
The report opens with an explanation of the relationships between the ratios then goes on to list the percentage of credit unions offering various types of loans, types of loans outstanding, first mortgage loans, business loans, and much more.
NJCUL has made this report available for download to member credit unions at: www.njcul.org/additionalnews.aspx.
