ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – CUNA President/CEO Bill Cheney has been added to line-up of speakers for the 2012 Reality Check Conference being held February 27-29, 2012 at Harrah’s Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.
Cheney has broad experience within the credit union movement, having begun his career during 1987 in Texas (his home state) with Security Service FCU in San Antonio. Since then, Cheney served as president and CEO of Xerox FCU (today known as Xceed FCU), and as president and CEO of the California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues.
In May of 2010, Cheney left the California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues to succeed Dan Mica as president/CEO of CUNA. Since taking the helm of CUNA, Cheney has been recognized for his strong regulatory and legislative leadership.
