We are seeking a part-time Member Service Rep/Teller to work in our Member Service Department 15 hours per week Monday through Friday 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The Member Service Rep/Teller works independently as well as within the group.

Vice President Enterprise Risk Management – First Commonwealth FCU

Credit Union Sales Executive - CU Direct

We are currently seeking a Credit Union Sales Executive to have the responsibility to develop and sell the CU Direct programs and services to potential Credit Unions throughout the quad states area (PA, NY, NJ, DE). Responsible for training applicable regional staff on the AutoSMART and Auto Buying systems, as well as the sales process. The principal responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Identifies prospects and brings to contract new Credit Union clients within the entire area; including prospect reporting and assisting credit union staff to ensure potential opportunities are maximized, handling all contracts and documentation to ensure they are executed and submitted properly.
  • Sells to potential and existing Credit Unions to develop new business and increase or retain existing business. Completes professional presentations to credit union executives, chapters, boards, and other credit union staff.
  • Assists in the implementation/training process for Credit Unions that have been contracted. This includes the coordination, communication, and timely transfer of responsibilities to the staff responsible for the account once implementation/training is completed. Updates applicable sales reporting system a minimum of twice per week.
  • Sells to potential Credit Unions regarding the AutoSMART and Auto Buying programs. Works with Marketing, Lending, and IT client staff to ensure auto related marketing activities are understood and completed on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate, support and attend Credit Union Chapter meetings, applicable industry mixers, Credit Union state conventions and Credit Union league functions that apply within the entire area.

Position Requirements:
At a minimum, each candidate should possess the following skills, experience and background:

  • BA/BS or commensurate experience.
  • Five years experience in a Financial Services industry sales environment.
  • Automated lending systems, credit scoring, portfolio monitoring and tracking experience is a must.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Credit Union Marketplace; Credit Union operations, regulatory. compliance and point of purchase.

Compliance Officer – Novartis Federal Credit Union, East Hanover, NJ

Novartis FCU is seeking an experienced compliance professional to administer a compliance and risk management program to ensure adherence with all applicable laws and regulations relative to consumer, credit card and real estate lending, deposit operations and IRA’s, electronic services, ACH, accounting and information systems.   • Must have a strong understanding and experience in validating and applying key regulations and regulatory standards (e.g. TILA, RESPA, TIS, Regulation B, HMDA, Card Act, GLBA, BSA/AML, CFPB, NACHA, FFIEC, FHMLC, NMLS, and SAFE)
  • Four-year college degree. Major in Business, Finance or related field a plus.

Asset Recovery Specialist – Full time, Non-Exempt – Jersey Shore FCU, Northfield NJ

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handles all communications and maintenance of delinquent loan accounts.
  • Notifies co-signers regarding status of delinquent accounts.
  • Handles special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment for delinquent accounts.
  • Analyzes delinquent loan reports to include, recording appropriate data in files and contacting members regarding correcting insufficient or non-payroll deductions.
  • Establishes delinquent loan repayment schedules of members via phone or written communication.
  • Researches and records pertinent data prior to turning over delinquent and repossession loan accounts to appropriate agency or attorney.
  • Recommends delinquent accounts for charge off to the Asset Recovery Supervisor/Executive Management for presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Processes bankruptcies, judgments, Proof of Claim, and other legal documents requiring verification and/or notarization.

  • Responsible for investigation of fraud cases and possible legal action.
  • Reviews collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures.
  • Audits delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to accounts.
  • Is responsible to develop a working knowledge and understanding of NCUA regulations regarding lending and delinquency.
  • Must maintain a working knowledge of all collection regulations including credit cards.
  • Is responsible to develop a working knowledge of the credit union's technology systems in relation to the lending and delinquency areas.
