Head Teller / Collections Clerk

Community Financial Services FCU

Duties:

  • Daily direction and training of Member Services Representatives
  • Ensure tellers understand and cross sell all Credit Union products
  • Coordinate ATM, Debit Card and Credit Card functions, including the balancing and replenishment of ATMs, posting transactions to the G/L, Issuing of cards, maintenance of PINs, and coordinating with Certegy and Fiserv
  • Provide cash services for tellers and perform daily teller balancing
  • Perform research on member’s accounts
  • Provide back up support for the member services representatives
  • Provide backup support for over draft privilege
  • Coordinate delinquency control and collection activity on all past due accounts
  • Coordinate collection activity with attorney and other outside agencies
  • Prepare monthly charge off recommendations


Reports To: Vice President, Operations

Qualifications: High School Graduate, some college preferred. Minimum 3 years Credit Union experience, Knowledge of Operating Systems, Knowledge of ATM, Debit Card and Credit Card Systems, Knowledge of all CU Savings and Loan Products, Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Electronic Services Representative

North Jersey Federal Credit Union has an opening for an Electronic Services Representative in their Totowa, New Jersey headquarters.

Job Summary:
Provide members with quality service and technical and administrative support for the share draft services, electronic funds transfers (EFT), automated clearing house (ACH) functions and VISA ATM disputes in a timely, accurate manner. Provide information to members and potential members regarding share drafts and other credit union services. Reconcile accounts in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Process payrolls for SEGs (Select Employee Groups) in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Process and correct all EFT transactions transmitted daily from the Federal Reserve. Return all Government Reclamations.
  • Process Visa disputes and shared branching adjustments in accordance with departmental and regulatory procedures.
  • Process SEG (Selective Employee Groups) payrolls in a timely manner.    
  • Ensure compliance with share draft rules and regulations and regulations governing plastic cards.
  • Assist in solving member issues or questions on EFT/ACH.

Member Service Representative

North Jersey Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Member Service Representative in their Totowa, New Jersey headquarters.

Job Summary:
Serve as a liaison between the member and the Credit Union.  Provide account information by phone or in person, as well as information on the full range of credit union products and services.  

Essential Functions:

  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set-up new accounts files and provide members with all necessary information for membership.
  • Handle requests from members for transfers, check requests, CD transactions, IRAs and any other requests received from members.
  • Actively cross-sell credit union products and services based on member needs.
  • Must have great verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
  • Assist members in opening new plastic card accounts.  Process PIN requests.

Administrative Assistant

Loan Servicing Specialist

Financial Resources Federal Credit Union

Responsible for daily quality control function for consumer and real estate loans. Review loan files, applications and related documentation as well as the ITI Premier and NGP System for accuracy and completeness. Document findings to Management and prepare monthly reports relating to missing loan documents and errors. Prepare correspondence to ensure titles are obtained for booked auto loans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Review consumer and real estate loan applications and related documents for accuracy and compliance with organization loan policies and procedures.
  • Track and cure loan audit exceptions.
  • Monitor non-escrow accounts to ensure that mortgage holders are current with real estate tax, hazard and flood insurance premiums.
  • Prepare real estate loan payoff letters
  • Perform annual escrow analysis

Consumer Loan Underwriter

Responsible for producing good quality loans and maintaining the high standard of member service. Compliance BSA/AML Officer

Job Summary:
Maintain an effective compliance program to ensure adherence with applicable rules, regulations, and statutory requirements and to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Monitors and reports results of the compliance efforts and provides guidance to the CEO and senior management on matters relating to compliance. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in senior risk management role in the financial services industry. Must be knowledgeable in all facets of NCUA rules and regulations including risk assessment, investigation and response, security and regulatory controls.
