Indirect Loan Officer

Inspire Federal Credit Union in Bristol, PA is seeking an Indirect Loan Officer. The Indirect Loan Officer is responsible for reviewing indirect auto loans, merchant loans, student loans, in-branch consumer loan applications and rendering appropriate credit decisions within Credit Union policy and in compliance with all regulations. This individual will structure indirect loan approvals to maximize Credit Union profit and enhance vendor and member relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze loan applications, credit bureau reports, collateral evaluation, member account data, financial statements, tax returns and other loan documentation in order to make consistent, sound lending decisions on consumer and indirect loans.
  2. Meet or exceed the loan production standards established for reviewing loans that fall into the indirect and loan operations queues. Maintain an acceptable level of quality as determined by established loan error standards.
  3. Communicate directly with dealer, vendor personnel on loan decisions and negotiates with them on stipulated loan decisions to mitigate the risk associated with the application. Clearly explains reasons for stipulating or denying the loan request.
  4. Support inbound vendor loan calls, contacts vendors weekly/daily to follow up on deals and inputs/updates loan data in the Credit Union's lending system.
  5. Build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with Lending Department, Branch Managers, Member Service Officers, and Indirect Auto Dealers and other vendors.
  6. Update and validate the accuracy of all data within the loan origination system within specified time frames.
  7. Produce and review reports, including but not limited to, loan review timelines, loan denials, loan withdrawals, exceptions, and quality control audits.
  8. Make recommendations and provide supporting documentation to assist in improving loan products, pricing, promotions, and policies to ensure competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of similar or related experience with indirect lending, an ability to work with Windows based software and ability to navigate Internet.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to maintain a larger picture perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with many different personality types and strong communications skills.
  • Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).
  • Knowledge of automated underwriting tools and related technology.

Senior Loan Officer

Inspire Federal Credit Union in Bristol, PA is seeking a Senior Loan Officer. The candidate will focus on building relationships with Inspire FCU members by providing accurate and timely information on credit union products and services.  Candidate will be responsible for interviewing and evaluating applicants for loans and processing various consumer and real estate loan applications as well as gathering background information, analyze loan applicants’ credit history and be authorized to make credit granting decisions.  Candidate must demonstrate relationship building skills and effectively promote credit union products and services.

Newark Board of Education Employees Credit Union (NBEECU) is looking for a P/T CPA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of CPA field of financial expertise. CPA  who under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for insuring that day to day accounting functions are completed in accordance with standard procedure, performing many of these functions using the Credit Union's mainframe computer system.  This individual’s primary responsibilities include the preparation of various accounting reports and analysis to assist management in making prudent financial decisions.

Home Equity / Mortgage Processor

North Jersey Federal Credit Union has an opening for a HE / Mortgage Processor in its Totowa branch.

Job Summary:
Answer questions from members on real estate loans and rates.  Gather and analyze financial information on members for the purpose of determining qualifying status for mortgage loans.  Provide member with applications, interview for routine loans or to obtain additional information, and set appointments with mortgage officer.  Review real estate loan documents for accuracy.

The IT Manager's role is to help plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Department.
