Accountant

Atlantic Federal Credit Union has a career opportunity for an Accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of ACH, general ledger, accounts payable as-well-as maintaining prepaid, accrual and month end spreadsheets.  This includes retrieving, running and balancing files using vendor specific software, posting, analyzing transactions and resolving exceptions as required.

IT Manager

Job Summary:
The IT Manager's role is to help plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Department. The Manager will oversee the IT Department staff activities, ensure all internal data processing and procedures are followed, and that staff are meeting daily, weekly and monthly goals.  The Manager position will report to VP, CIO of IT and work closely with Executives to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

 Qualifications:

Member Service Rep/Teller

Description

Provide members with quality service and technical and administrative support for the share draft services, electronic funds transfers (EFT), automated clearing house (ACH) functions and VISA ATM disputes in a timely, accurate manner. Part-Time Accountant

· Position has dual accountability to the CEO (administratively) as well as Supervisory Committee (functionally)
· Report on the adequacy of credit union systems, processes, and internal controls, focused on safeguarding credit union assets
· Consult with management in the development of policies and procedures to ensure the credit union is mitigating risk in all areas
· Assist in the development of the annual integrated audit plan and program

Consumer Loan Underwriter

Position:  Consumer Loan Underwriter
Reports to:  Lending Manager
Location:    Wall

Summary:

Responsible for producing good quality loans and maintaining the high standard of member service. Follows established policies and procedures to originate consumer loans by interviewing applicants, ordering credit reports, analyzing data, approving requests, notifying applicants of loan decisions, notifying members of loan status, and disbursing approved loans.  May assist with servicing all loans.  Flexible and able to adapt at changing circumstances, including work demand and technological advances.  Must be responsible, take ownership and have a sense of urgency in being responsive to members and staff.

Requirements:

  • General Consumer loan underwriting experience (auto, personal and credit cards)
  • Indirect Underwriting experience a plus
  • Sound analytical skills to conduct analysis of applicant’s credit status and recommend alternatives if the analysis reveals an insufficient financial profile.
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Solid basic math skills – able to compute rate, ration and percentages
  • Computer skills:  MS Outlook, Word and Excel. 
  • Experience with lending software

Lending Services Manager/Director of Lending

Novartis Federal Credit Union, a 130 million dollar credit union located in Morris County is seeking a qualified individual to manage our Consumer Loan Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing all lending activities in both the consumer and real estate areas insuring that all loans are in compliance with policy and follow Federal and State regulations.

Minimum five years in a consumer lending environment required, with a least 2 years of supervisory experience preferably in a credit union environment. In addition to daily loan activity, this position is responsible for directing and implementing loan product promotions and loan portfolio management necessary to achieve the credit union goals and objectives.

Candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and participate in operational strategic planning and goal setting. Full benefits, including, generous 401K matching program, and management incentive plans.
