> Webinar: Vendor Due Diligence & Effective Vendor Management Programs

Thursday, November 15, 2012
3:00 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
4:30 PM

Vendor management continues to be a high-priority operational and regulatory issue. Recently, a credit union allowed a bad vendor to pull them underwater. Every credit union entrusts some of its most-sensitive member information, financial resources, and core business processes to third-party vendors. However, if something goes wrong in a third-party relationship, the credit union still gets the blame.

Make sure your credit union is getting the most from your vendors while satisfying increased examination scrutiny. This webinar will examine both the technical and practical sides of third-party contractual relationships. From selecting the best available vendor, to identifying integration issues, to getting the most return from your investment, this presentation examines the regulatory requirements for managing third-party relationships and the operational details of creating an effective vendor-management program.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Leveraging NCUA guidance on evaluation of third-party relationships
  • Effective planning for third-party arrangements
  • Maximizing the return on outsourced relationships
  • Essential elements of vendor due diligence
  • Creating solid staff oversight and quality control over third-party vendors
