Program Summary: Senator Singer (R-30) co-sponsored the legislation to enable credit unions to enter the $14 billion municipal deposits market. As the number two ranking Republican in the Senate, he was  a driving force behind its passage, giving the bill strong bi-partisan leadership support and taking time to testify in committee. Singer is a true credit union supporter.
