You know the story. Your credit union needs to grow. That means both more members and members using more of your products. You can call it what you want but the truth is that frontline staff have tremendous opportunities to “help” members by recommending products and services.
Done correctly, this benefits everyone: you, your credit union and the member!
Learn and practice techniques to become more comfortable listening and recommending products as solutions to member needs.

Barbara Agin has been with the NJ Credit Union League for over six years and in that capacity has worked with many credit unions on service and cross-selling initiatives. Having come from the financial series arena, she is well versed is the pros and cons of the developing a sales/service culture.
